Community Outreach

Stakeholder engagement is critical to the success of this program so the Community Outreach component will work diligently to keep the community abreast of scheduled progress.  The web site will be regularly updated and a quarterly newsletter will highlight the occupation of new school spaces and the re-population of renovated ones.  Public forums will also be employed to ensure that input is sought to gauge audience perceptions, desires and opinions.

The utilization of a variety of outlets and media to maximize awareness and support of RSMP phase 2 includes:

  • Websites - project, school district, and city
  • Newsletters
  • Civic organizations and community groups
  • Social media
  • Newspapers
  • TV and radio ads
  • Networking matchmaker events
  • Exhibit booths, trade shows and job fairs
