VoIP Equipment Mini-Bid

Sealed bids will be received until 3:00 PM on April 22, 2020, at the Rochester Schools Modernization Program offices at 70 Carlson Road, Suite 200 – Rochester, NY 14610, by the Rochester Joint Schools Construction Board (“RJSCB” or “Owner”), Attention: James McGuinness, for VoIP Equipment, including Handsets and Licenses (“Project”), for five schools in the Rochester City School District, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. (Note: An Addendum will follow with instructions should bids be accepted electronically and read at a virtual meeting.)

Questions during the bidding period must be emailed to: minibid@rjscb.org on/or before 4:00 PM on April 17, 2020. The Owner will not accept or respond to questions from prospective bidders received orally or by facsimile.

The Owner is required to comply with New York State's public bidding and other laws pertaining to public works, to advertise for any and all public work contracts, and to incorporate New York prevailing wage schedules or federal Davis-Bacon wage rate schedules, as applicable, into any contracts which may involve the employment of laborers, workmen or mechanics, whether or not publicly bid.

The RJSCB hereby approves the recommendation of the Program Manager and Millennium Strategies that the contract awards shall be made to Vicom Computer Services, to provide the necessary Network Electronics; and The RJSCB Chair is hereby authorized, to execute and deliver a Purchase Order to Norcom Communication Solutions.
