RSMP PROGRAM MANAGER

Since 1988, Savin Engineers, P.C. has fully understood the unique construction and renovation challenges school districts face when they undertake a capital improvement project. Capital projects, typically performed in a highly active environment under tight time constraints, must be carefully planned and phased, and safely staged to minimize the disruption to the normal school routine, and ensure that the safety of students and staff is not compromised during the construction. Sensitive to the PK-12 environment, Savin Engineers provides program and construction management services to school districts throughout New York State and knows what it takes to get projects done on time and within budget.

For the Rochester Schools Modernization Program, Savin Engineers, in association with the Gilbane Building Company, is serving as Program Manager for Phase 2. Responsibilities include: NY State Education Department coordination, overseeing bid administration in compliance with general municipal laws, architect and CM selection management, auxiliary professional service firm procurement, program strategic planning, Business Opportunities Program (BOP), Building Advisory Committee (BAC) coordination, monthly review of all requisitions and change orders, regulatory agency interfacing and diversity plan implementation, among many others.
